Sky Art’s ‘Virgin Virtuosos’

This series sees Myatt visiting places that have been made famous by some of the great art Masters over the years. Myatt travels with his canvas and a celebrity at his side, who shares Myatt’s love of painting. Celebrities keeping Myatt company include Maureen Lipman, Imogen Stubbs and Bill Bailey. Viewers will see Myatt return to Constable’s Flatford Mill, Monet’s Houses of Parliament, Canaletto’s Greenwich, Turner’s Stone Henge, Edward Seago’s Norfolk Broads and John Piper’s Stowe Park.

BBC’s portrayal of an infamous Dutch fraudster
Myatt will appear in a one-off programme with Antiques Roadshow presenter Fiona Bruce and features the life of the infamous fraudster Han van Meegeren. His works were sold as legitimate masters to the Nazis – with one falsified ‘Vermeer’ ending up in the possession of the notorious Nazi, Goring.
